Terms & Conditions

Last updated: February 2026

The terms below apply to your use of this website and any work we quote or deliver. Please contact us if anything is unclear.

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Pristine Water Systems Sunshine Coast website and the water tank cleaning, filtration, UV sterilisation, BioCleanse™ pipework treatment, water testing and servicing work we quote and deliver.

By using this website or engaging us to carry out work, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or engage our services.

2. Who we are

Pristine Water Systems Sunshine Coast is a licensed franchise of Pristine Water Systems operating in the Sunshine Coast, Queensland area. Our office is located at Unit 1/37 Gateway Drive, Noosaville QLD 4566. Business hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm.

3. Website use

You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes including learning about our services and requesting a quote. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its back-end systems.
  • Interfere with, disrupt or overload the site or its infrastructure.
  • Scrape or reproduce substantial portions of content without written permission.
  • Submit content that is false, misleading, defamatory, or a violation of any law.

4. Quotes, bookings and inspections

Website enquiries and phone requests do not create a booking on their own. A booking is confirmed only when we contact you back and agree a date, scope and price. Where a free inspection is offered, it covers a visual assessment of the tank, catchment, filtration and UV (where present) plus a written recommendation — nothing more.

Quotes are typically valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise on the quote itself. Prices assume normal access and site conditions; any material change discovered on site (locked tanks, restricted access, undisclosed contamination) may result in a written variation before work continues.

5. Your obligations

To help us deliver work safely and on time, you agree to:

  • Provide safe access to the tank, catchment, plumbing and filtration equipment.
  • Notify us of hazards or restrictions in advance (dogs, security systems, sloped access, asbestos etc.).
  • Ensure someone over 18 is contactable during the service where indoor access is required.
  • Give accurate information about the property, water source and any recent issues.

6. Scope of work and expectations

Our recommendations are based on the assessment carried out on the day and, where applicable, the results of independent AWARE laboratory testing. We provide:

  • Written service reports where relevant.
  • Recommendations for maintenance intervals appropriate to your system.
  • Guidance in plain English — never medical claims or “guaranteed safe” language.

Water quality is influenced by many factors outside our control — rainfall, catchment condition, plumbing age, upstream cross-connections, changes in water use — and no service can guarantee any particular water quality outcome. We commit to competent, professional work; we do not warrant biological outcomes.

7. Payment

Unless stated otherwise on the quote or invoice, payment is due on completion of work. Accepted payment methods and any deposit requirements are shown on the quote. Overdue accounts may be subject to reasonable recovery costs as permitted by law.

8. Cancellations and rescheduling

We understand plans change. Please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer the slot to another customer. Same-day cancellations or no-access call-outs may incur a reasonable call-out fee. Specific cancellation terms will be set out on the quote or booking confirmation.

9. Warranties and consumer rights

Products (filtration components, UV units, cartridges, lamps) carry the manufacturer's warranty as supplied. Our workmanship is warranted against defects for a reasonable period consistent with normal industry practice.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantees that apply to you under the Australian Consumer Law — those guarantees always apply. The exact warranty periods for workmanship and consumables are set out on the quote and invoice for each job.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim in connection with this website or our services is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the affected service or refunding the amount paid for it. This does not limit rights you cannot waive under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Intellectual property

The content on this website — including text, images, page structure and the QuadClean™, BioCleanse™, AqueousPro™ and Protect-UV™ trademarks associated with Pristine Water Systems — is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, republish or commercially use our content without written permission.

12. Third-party links

This website may link to third-party sites (for example Pristine Water Systems or independent laboratories such as AWARE). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices. Please review their own terms and privacy policies.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the website after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
