YOU'VE DONE EVERYTHING RIGHT.
But what about the inside of your household pipes?
- Tank cleaned ✓
- Filters serviced ✓
- UV working ✓
- Gutters clean ✓
- First flush maintained ✓
Tank cleaning, filtration and UV all perform important jobs, but they do not physically clean established biofilm from the internal surfaces of household plumbing.
HOW BIOFILM CAN DEVELOP INSIDE YOUR PIPES
Even when the tank and treatment system are maintained, microorganisms can attach to internal plumbing surfaces and biofilm can develop over time. Once established, biofilm is protected from the water passing through and often survives conventional maintenance.
THINK YOUR WATER SYSTEM IS ALREADY AS GOOD AS IT CAN BE?
This campaign is specifically aimed at homeowners who already maintain their water system well. If most of the checklist opposite sounds like you, the Pipework Check was designed with you in mind.
- Tank already professionally cleaned
- UV installed
- Gutters regularly cleaned
- Water looks clear
- First flush maintained
- Water tastes fine
- Tank inlet strainer maintained
- Filters changed
- No obvious water problems
- Pipework has never received BioCleanse treatment
THE AWARE PIPEWORK CHECK
An accredited laboratory water test performed by AWARE Water Testing — analysing a small but revealing panel that indicates whether further investigation of your pipework is warranted.
A single water sample can identify contamination at the sampling point but must not be represented as proof that contamination originated inside the pipework. Interpretation always requires context — sampling location, comparative results and physical assessment.
SOURCE-TO-TAP COMPARISON
Where practical, AWARE compares two samples along your water pathway. If an upstream result is satisfactory but downstream microbiology is not, this may provide stronger evidence that further investigation of the downstream plumbing is warranted.
A single positive result does not automatically prove the presence of biofilm inside pipework. All laboratory results must be interpreted alongside physical assessment before any treatment is recommended.
TEST IT FIRST. NO GUESSWORK.
If your qualifying laboratory results indicate a microbiological issue and you proceed with a recommended BioCleanse treatment, the cost of your qualifying test will be credited toward the treatment. If testing indicates no further action is warranted, you've paid for a laboratory-grade baseline of your home's pipework — a genuinely useful record.
BIOCLEANSE™
Developed specifically for household water pipework.
BioCleanse is an exclusive Pristine Water Systems product/service developed by our in-house Research & Development team in 2019. It is designed to work through the household water pathway under controlled treatment conditions, helping loosen and remove established biofilm and accumulated material from the plumbing system.
Established biofilm on inner walls
Post-BioCleanse — clean surface
ONE WATER SYSTEM. DIFFERENT LAYERS OF PROTECTION.
Each stage of your water system does a specific job. BioCleanse addresses the one area the others physically can't reach — the internal surfaces of household pipework.
Removes accumulated sediment and material from inside the tank.
Removes selected contaminants and particles as water passes through the system.
Helps control susceptible microorganisms passing through the UV chamber.
Targets internal household pipework that the other stages do not physically clean.
